Overview and Clinical Utility:
Effective January 24, 2014, PathGroup will reflex reactive syphilis, nonreactive RPR manual to Treponema pallidum Antibody by TP-PA for confirmation which is recommended by the CDC. This will replace the reflex to Fluorescent Treponema Antibody (FTA).
