CLIENT BILLING REPRESENTATIVE

Brentwood, TN

Duties:

• Call clients for valid patient demographics, insurance information
• Process patient bill accessions
• Process TES edits related to billing
• Search websites for insurance requirements
• Responsible for entry of daily billing interfaces with Pathsys computer system

Hours:
M-F 7am-4pm

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of medical billing preferred.
• Personal computer proficiency, strong data entry and ten key calculator skills are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills required.

DISTRIBUTION SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Glasgow/Campbellsville, KY area, Glasgow/Louisville/Bowling Green, KY area, St. Louis, MO area, Lexington/Manchester/Somerset, KY area, Atlanta, GA area, Memphis, TN/Upper MS area, Nashville, TN area

Duties:

• Pick up specimens from clients according to established procedures and timetables.
• Deliver specimens to designated drop off point(s).
• Ensure that the integrity of the specimens is not compromised during transport.
• Deliver reports and supplies to clients on an assigned route.
• Maintain an accurate log of specimens, reports, and supplies picked up or dropped off on an assigned route.
• Record clients’ requests for supplies and special services, and forward them to the appropriate person or department.
• Interact with clients on a daily basis, forwards client concerns to coordinator or local supervisor for corrective action.
• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.
• Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands
• Perform routine inspection of assigned vehicle (i.e., gas, tires, appearance, fluid levels, etc.).  Report any problems to coordinator or local supervisor immediately and maintain accurate monthly logs.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Thoroughly understand and participate in defensive driving techniques.
• Remain current in the training and knowledge of specimen handling.
• Completes special assignments as required by coordinator or local supervisor

MARKETING ASSISTANT

Duties:

• Active involvement in research, organization, coordination and tactical execution for marketing material development include marketing slicks, brochures, trade show materials etc.
• Involved in exploring, uncovering and meeting needs for continuous growth and enhancement of marketing strategies which will drive sales growth in the organization.
• Oversee trade show coordination.
• Assist in development of targeted marketing plans.

HEALTHCARE APPLICATIONS ANALYST II

Brentwood, TN

Duties:

• Support and assist all interfaces of the Billing Application with other Systems/Applications.
• Billing Application Support – provide support to end users, analyze all modules used in the Business Office to ensure effectiveness, provide recommendations for improvements, etc.
• Work Queue – Work all requests sent to the queue – performing necessary analysis of issues/requests, providing resolution and feedback, performing necessary additions/modifications to the Billing Application, etc.
• Assist with the implementation and testing of all upgrades to existing applications as well as new applications/modules.
• Set up and maintenance of all EDI and Paper Carriers – completing/submitting necessary paperwork for all EDI Carriers, writing logic using the EDI Tool Kit to pull correct data fields, ability to interpret and implement requirements for EDI claims per carrier, testing with carriers, creating carrier specific edits, etc.
• Set up and maintenance of all ERA for Carriers – completing/submitting necessary paperwork for all EDI Carriers, set up in GE, testing with carriers, testing with end users, etc.
• Transmission of all EDI Claim Files – this includes ensuring files are processed and accepted, retrieving and reviewing all reports, maintaining logs, distributing reports appropriately, etc.
• Retrieval of all ERAs – this includes ensuring files are received, logged and distributed in a timely manner.
• Map and maintain mapping for all Interface Clients – Insurance Carriers, Locations, Relationships, etc.
• Set up and maintenance of all data dictionaries housed in the Billing Application, as well as the ancillary applications used within the Business Office and Laboratory – this includes ensuring accurate and complete data.
•  Set up and maintenance of all Fee Schedules for PathGroup – Charge Master, Client Billing, Insurance Billing, etc.
• Analyze, identify and implement resolution for issues related to Interfaces, Insurance Carrier Edits and Statement Edits.
• Registration and Charge Files – Analyze, generate and process registration and charge files pulled from the Laboratory System
• Write Reports to pull data from the Billing System based on user/client needs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required.
• College Degree preferred.
• Two to three years of prior job-related experience is required
• Standard Computer Skills required.
• MicroSoft Office Products required.
• EDI experience a plus.
• Application Support a plus.
• Good phone and communication skills are required

OFFICE MANAGER

Chattanooga, TN

Duties:

• Transcription of cases when required.
• Receive and properly route incoming phone calls, visitors and messages.
• Interact with other hospital department representing Pathology Department.
• Manage direct report employees in accordance with PathGroup policies to ensure development and proper coverage of department.
• Ensure regular and proper filing of slides and blocks.
• Responsible for running QC computerized report, extracting data into monthly report to staff and AP for pathologist.
• Assist pathologist in review of CAP Lab Inspection documents by pre-reviewing and organizing information.
• Type and compose administrative letters, reports, fax messages and memoranda as requested by Pathologists.
• Interact with Clients when necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required.
• One to two years of prior job-related experience is required.
• Must be proficient with computer systems used by Pathology.

ICD9 CODER

Duties:

• Administer All ICD-9 diagnosis codes.
• Correct errors in diagnosis codes.
• Review/examine all reports for accuracy.
• Work edits relating to correct coding guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification or Certified Medical Coder (CMC) or Equivalent certification required.
• Two to four years of prior ICD 9 coding experience required.
• Analytical/Reasoning and computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of governmental payor policies and medical billing experience is preferred.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills required.

CASH/PAYMENT POSTING REPRESENTATIVE

Brentwood, TN

Duties:

• Post payments to accounts.
• Post all zero pay explanation of benefits (eobs) to accounts
• Review and post all Account Problem Sheets received
• Electronically post payments received via electronic funds transfer (i.e Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tenn, etc.)
• Refer improperly paid account for review to Refund clerk.

FT M-F 7:30am-4pm

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EDI payment posting experience required.
• Knowledge of fee schedules and contracted insurance companies preferred.

PATIENT ACCOUNT REP. – 3RD PARTY

Brentwood, TN

Duties:

• Responsible for the review and follow-up of outstanding accounts and adhering to productivity guidelines as established by the department supervisor.
• Contact patients and insurance companies for collection of outstanding.
• Resolve outstanding accounts, following policy/procedure in resolving, i.e. account write off, placement with collection agency, payment plan scheduling, and appeals with insurance companies etc.
• Utilize/review reports to identify reimbursement problems with insurance companies.
• Compose letters to insurance companies/patients to resolve reimbursement problems.
• Telephone insurance companies to resolve contract issues regarding rates of payment.
• Review Bad Address reports/returned statements and utilize resources to locate correct information.

M-F 7:30am-4pm
