Douglas E. Shirley

Shirley-fullDoug Shirley joined PathGroup as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in November 2022. He brings over 25 years of healthcare finance and revenue cycle management. Doug came to PathGroup from Surgical Partners where he was Senior Vice President, CFO of National Group & Head of Enterprise Revenue Cycle Management. He was responsible for the National Group’s financial performance and the overall Revenue Cycle functions. Prior to Surgical Partners his experience includes 8+ years with The Cooper Health System in Camden, NJ where he was Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for the overall system financial performance and strategic direction. Doug has also held senior level positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ardent Health Services and Ernst & Young. Doug graduated University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance.

PathGroup maintains contracts with over 400 Managed Care Organizations. In addition, we provide our clients with a dedicated team of knowledgeable staff to assist navigating the billing of claims through Managed Care. PathGroup will accept every insurance and bill patients in accordance with appropriate legal guidelines.  Every effort is made to provide patients with a hassle-free experience, keeping their best interest in mind.
